  • Emergency acute treatment
  • Children with chronic kidney disease stage IV and V with hyperkalaemia and on significant dietary restriction (unlicensed)
  • Children with chronic kidney disease stage 5 needing haemodialysis (unlicensed)
  • Children with chronic kidney disease stage 5 needing peritoneal dialysis (unlicensed)
  • Children on medications with high serum potassium as a side effect such as ACEi and ARB with no alternate option available (unlicensed)
